About 'Therapy with Rene'

Therapy with Rene was established in 2023 with offices in Nambour located on the beautiful Sunshine Coast. Rene herself has been working and studying in the mental health field for several years working with various mental health conditions and psychosocial disabilities including but not limited to:​

  • Life transitions

  • Grief

  • Anxiety 

  • Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder

  • Autism spectrum disorder

  • Addiction and sobriety

  • Queer Issues

Q. Do I have to be a NDIS participant?

A. No, you do not have to be a NDIS participant!

Q. Do I have to have a formal diagnosis?

A. No. A diagnosis is a label used to describe and group a set of symptoms or behaviours.  While they can be helpful, they are not necessary.

Q. Can I contact you outside of office hours?

A. No. Any communication after hours (phone call, text, email) will be responded to during the next business day.

Q. Are you a registered NDIS provider?

A. No. If you intend to use your plan to pay for services, the plan must be either self-managed or plan managed. â€‹

Q. Do you do Telehealth?

A. Yes! Many folks these days use telehealth to fit therapy into their busy schedules, making it more accessible.
